Solid Hardwood Scotia 2m Length Cherry Oiled is a simple beading profile to be used to cover the expansion gap around the perimeter of the room. As per recommended installation guides an expansion gap must be left around every fixated object, to cover the expansion gap the use of this profile is reccommended.
This product is suitable for use with most engineered and solid wood products.

The product is good quality and looks effective but we have to stain it a darker colour to match the dark oak flooring which we ordered. It was fitted in a room which has a freestanding bookcase in one recess. We did not fit the scotia behind the bookcase because it would have left too large a gap between the bookcase and the wall.
