Matt Lacquer Engineered Wood Flooring

Matt lacquer forms a clear, watertight layer that sits on top of the exposed flooring, helping to ensure that spills and other accidents are unable to permanently damage the floor. Instead of the gloss finish of other lacquers, matt lacquer dries to a beautiful, rich finish. The scratches that would normally affect the wood instead impact the lacquer on matt lacquer engineered flooring. Eventually, these scratches will expose the wood, but all that will be necessary to fix the problem at that point is some re-sanding and re-lacquering. This only has to be done every couple of years, and is much less expensive than replacing the whole floor, which is usually required when carpet gets too dingy. The regular maintenance of matt lacquer engineered flooring only requires sweeping and damp mopping.
