Bamboo underlay

Q: What is the best type of underlay to use with bamboo flooring? It is to be put on a floor that is mostly floorboards but with a small area of cemented floor.
A: Thank you for your question.You haven?t stated whether you are thinking of fitting a solid or engineered bamboo, which will make a difference.With a solid wood floor you can glue to the concrete and then screw to the wood.With an engineered floor I would recommend our Cushion range of underlays, all will do the job.Please remember to use a damp proof membrane under the underlay first to prevent any moisture damage to your bamboo floor.I hope this helps.
