Liner for vinyl

Q: Do I need to put a liner under vinyl before putting it on a new stone floor in my conservatory?
A: No, a liner as such, is not needed as Vinyl in its very nature is moisture resistant. On the other hand, I would suggest a moisture test is carried out as a matter of course, to eliminate any chance of residual moisture becoming a musty, smelling problem at a later date.
