Hawaii chooses wood floors
Hawaii homeowners are stepping away from previous fashions with carpets with an increasing number of consumers opting for wood flooring.
Although British interior design styles have favoured wooden flooring options rather than carpets for several years now other cultures have different preferences and fashions when it comes to flooring.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported that this shift had been influenced by a world-wide trend towards wooden flooring.
The current economic climate is likely to have influenced this because, although shoppers have less to spend, investment purchases are more valued now.
With a tropical climate Hawaiian homeowners are likely to benefit from wooden floors, which don’t hold heat as much as carpet.
It is also likely that consumers will welcome the ease of maintenance and the long life-span of wood flooring products.
