Natural Carpets

Our natural carpet range is supplied by Cormar Carpets, which designs such products with a cosy, enjoyable and fluffy twist pile style. The items are not made entirely from wool, with a mixture of synthetic materials being added, but they are designed to offer the feel of a totally natural product, while enjoying the benefits that each of the constituent fibres can offer. Cormar's range of natural carpets contains 80 per cent wool, which is made from the fleeces of sheep in the UK and provides these products with a deep, warm, cosy and fluffy feel that your feet will love. The other materials involved are nylon and tuftbond, which provide extra strength and resilience to help your new carpet stand the test of time. These materials each provide ten per cent of the content of the carpets.

The carpets in the range are all twist pile types, but with varied pile weights. These range from 42 oz to 60 oz, with 50 oz also available. These weights are reflected in the thickness of the material.

Such pile carpets are made using the latest and finest technology. The weaving is done with advanced tenth gauge machinery. This means that very fine needles are used, ensuring that ten tufts are created for every inch of width. As a result, the carpet pile becomes denser and more compact.

As well as feeling good and lasting a long time, we know you will want a carpet that looks attractive and has a nice colour. Cormar's range offers a variety of shades that enable you to pick one that fits well with the other colours and tones present in the room where you will install the new floor.

Examples of the shades include a pastel grey-green shade, which may be ideal for those who do not like their colours to be overstated. Biscuit colour carpet is also available, which provides a warmer tone for a room in which cosiness and relaxation may be the order of the day.

The heavier, tuftier carpets come with darker grey-green tones, the sort that may work well with darker colours instead of bright, lively ones. Put together, this means that you can select a carpet according to its shade that will fit best with the broader colour scheme, or one that is versatile enough to adapt to an eclectic mix of shades and tones.

The products come in rolls of 4 m in width and are versatile enough to be used in almost every room in the house, whether the living room, bedroom or on the stairs.
