Importance of commercial and safety flooring

The importance of the use of safety flooring has been highlighted to anyone with commercial premises as a college chooses to use innovative safety flooring.

South Cheshire College is having one building on the campus totally renovated and, rather than focus solely on the décor of the new building the architects have focused on the floors.

Safety flooring brands Altro and Suprema have provided three different products for the commercial premises in order to utilize the products best suited to the area.

A busy complex, like this one, would require very hardwearing safety flooring to cope with the high amount of foot traffic without getting damaged and presenting a risk of accident of injury.

These risks must be taken in to account when choosing commercial flooring because the safety of staff or visitors is always paramount.

One of the most common ways to sustain an injury in the work place is by tripping or falling so it is worth looking in to safety flooring or at least floors designed for commercial use.

The three different flooring products have been fitted separately across the campus, in the busy corridors and finally the kitchen area.

Each flooring option is designed to withstand the daily trials from each area, from extremely high foot traffic in corridors to spillages and swift clean ups on the kitchen flooring.
