Promotion of natural wool in carpets
A high profile carpet campaign has announced its imminent attendance at Surfaces 2012 to promote the group’s global cause.
The Campaign for Wool, often referred to as CfW, are hoping to enhance the knowledge of the wool trade and wool products within the industry as well as consumers.
Part of the campaign’s attempts to educate the market about issues affecting wool involves the green sheep logo which is synonymous with the group.
There will also be a promotion about the benefits of choosing wool and emphasising the natural credentials of wool.
Quality wool products, such as carpets, can now be identified by the green sheep logo, which has helped to unify the wool industry.
Highlighting the natural credentials of the wool used in carpet comes at an appropriate time as those in the flooring industry push to find more environmentally friendly flooring.
