The white fantastic for cork bathroom flooring
18th November 2010
Coming in a tinted white shade, it offers an unusual but very slick and stylish floor, offering a different colour but still providing the benefits of cork flooring, being warm and soft underfoot.
Cork is also widely regarded as a green material, as it can be harvested through the trimming of the bark from the parent tree, which can then grow it back ready for another harvest a few years later.
It has 10 mm thick and 300 mm across tiles, while the lacquer gives it a smooth finish and the warranty lasts for 20 years.
The floor is installed with a Uniclic click system.
For those seeking a paler than normal cork without it being quite as light as white, the Cork Basics Floating Floor Classic Sand may offer the ideal solution.
It is a faded pale golden brown with a grainy texture.
