Bamboo a feature of green yoga studio

In a feature on the Get Yogafied studio in the city, the Dallas Morning News described how owners Shana Stein and Kimberly Ames set about making it as environmentally-sensitive as possible, using as much in the way of recycled materials and energy-saving elements as they could.
As well as having bamboo flooring, the pair also used materials with low levels of volatile organic compounds, eco-friendly soy candles and have kept the office paper-free, with no printer and everything done online.
"One of our green efforts includes not just being as paperless as possible, but being as stuffless as possible," Ms Stein said.
In February this year, it was revealed that a similar studio, Passage to Yoga in Detroit, was being created along the same lines.
As well as bamboo flooring, it had soy carpets and energy-efficient lighting installed prior to its opening at the beginning of March.
