Bamboo flooring a feature of new offices

Bamboo flooring is a major aspect of new offices that a Texan engineering company is moving into.

Jaster-Quintanilla is moving into new premises in Fort Worth, which have been renovated after formerly housing the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association museum, dBusiness News reports.

Principal and office manager Rene Avila told the news provider the new headquarters has a number of sustainable features and bamboo flooring is accompanied by elements such as abundant natural lighting.

He also noted the 4,400 sq ft building is giving the company the extra space it needs, stating: "Our new location gives us the ability to grow and provides a more central location to serve our clients."

Earlier this week, North Carolina news provider Mountain Express bamboo flooring can be an important element of a green home, giving the example of a 60-year-old house that has had the material installed along with other new eco-friendly aspects.
