A house for sale in the US state of Idaho features bamboo flooring among its attributes, it has been revealed.
The home in the city of Boise has the material in the living room, with Boise Weekly reporting that it is "naturally spotlighted by sunshine streaming in through the south-facing front window".
It also notes that the property - which was built 47 years ago with a three half-floor level design - has other elements that may be of interest, such as a renovated kitchen with hardwood cabinets, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a master suite and an enclosed patio.
The home is available for $249,000 (£165,000).
While the bamboo flooring in Boise is in an older home, the sustainable material has also been choosen for the floors of new homes in an apartment development in Vancouver.
The kitchens, living rooms and master bedrooms in each unit at the Ginger on Main development in the city all use the hardwood, which is technically a kind of grass.
