Building set for new vinyl flooring

Vinyl flooring is to be installed in a bar as it undertakes a makeover.

The Osakis VFW bar in the US state of Minnesota is undergoing a major refurbishment this month that will see it being given new vinyl flooring throughout, the Osakis Review reports.

Teams of volunteers have been tearing up the old floor, while the bar area is also being remodelled.

Al Kral, who viewed the new bar, told the news provider the venue is "absolutely beautiful", adding that various fundraising events have been held to raise the cash needed for the changes.

"We've been working hard to save money for and plan this project", he stated, adding: "We couldn't do it without all the volunteer help."

Other renovations to use vinyl flooring include a home in Maryland advertised for sale in the Gazette.net last month.

The substance is used as kitchen flooring in the home, which is located in the village of Middletown.
