Carpet firm expands in to vinyl market
While other carpet manufacturers may be struggling in the current economic climate Victoria Carpets has expanded in to a new sector of the flooring market.
Having taken over C&H Distribution the carpet manufacturer has now taken a leap in to the luxury vinyl flooring market.
The company are expecting their new product to create profit within the first full year of ownership and add to earnings from the carpet business.
Victoria Carpets will now aim to capture the market for both carpeting and luxury vinyl in the Australasian and UK flooring markets.
A wider selection of products is likely to boost the sales for the company as the products will appeal to two separate markets.
Victoria will now create a luxury flooring selection, which is likely to broaden the company’s customer base even further.
The flooring industry continues to have a mixed fortune due to the effects of the recession with several businesses recently announcing that they are facing extreme difficulties.
Fortunately for the flooring sector internet flooring retailers seem to be creating their own success stories and news of Victoria’s new acquisition will only add to the positive news.
