Commercial carpet maker Axminster has revealed a new facility to allow clients to customise the type of flooring surface they want.
Under its Graphics Concepts service, the maker is able to let customers choose the combination of patterns, materials and colours that will suit their needs and tastes, Hotel Designs reports.
Sales director of the West Country firm Steve Upperton noted that although the company is well known for its woven designs, these are not what everyone is looking for.
He added: "We wanted to make sure that our bespoke expertise could also benefit specifiers looking for a unique tufted carpet for their project."
The carpets will be available for hotel, offices and leisure facilities.
Last month, Axminster Carpets completed a project at the Grange St Paul's hotel in the City of London, which involved the installation of 20,000 sq ft of carpet.
The material was made from 80 per cent wool and 20 per cent nylon.
