Carpet firm takeover hailed

Boss of Renewal Carpet Tiles John Wright led a takeover of Dutton's Carpets, after the Blackburn-based firm went into administration earlier this month, the Blackburn Citizen reports.
He said the swift move - which sees Renewal taking control of a company it shares a building with - is ideal for customers and for the 155 staff whose jobs have been saved.
"The firm will carry on the same work of Renewal Carpet Tiles and Dutton Carpets and it will take over the order book of Dutton," Mr Wright told the publication.
Meanwhile, another British carpet firm, JHS, has set about improving its fortunes through the establishment of a new website.
The company, which is located in Tamworth, has had its new site designed by Birmingham outfit ORB Creative, The Drum reports.
