Carpet goes green for awards ceremony
25th August 2010
Such a move has been praised in green gossip portal Ecorazzi, which noted the entire set in the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles has been made with recyclable materials.
Among the steps being undertaken by staff setting everything up for the event are the use of non-toxic cleaning materials, organic makeup for the stars, while the grills for the food and delivery vehicles use low-emission technology.
The portal commented: "While this isn't the first time that the Emmy awards has taken on a green hue, it's certainly the most broad-sweeping effort to date, a trend that we hope will continue to gain momentum with each passing year!"
Those wishing to get a carpet that is green in colour may be interested in some of those provided by Cormar.
Its range includes products like the bright green Twist Onyx and the mottled pastel shade Twist Moss.
