Coming in a deep twist pile form, the carpet has a golden colour that includes small flecks of red, amber and orange, which may help to add interest to the product by ensuring that it is not of a monotone shade.
Cormar's design of the carpet is intended to give it a rustic look that is reminiscent of the hues of the Scottish Highlands.
The item is made up mainly of new British wool that gives the fibre extra crimp, designed to ensure that the carpet is more hard-wearing and can take the extra pressure of heavy footfall in a room that is used a lot.
One-fifth of the fibre is made from synthetic materials, these being equal amounts of nylon and tuftbond.
