The fleece wool product depicts Ton Duc Thang and has been designed ahead of the 122nd anniversary of his birth on August 20th, Communist Party of Vietnam news site Saigon Giai Phong reports.
It was made by two experienced carpet weavers at the Sai Gon Woolen Carpet Company carpet making company in just over a month, measuring 140 cm by 106 cm and including 32 colours among its 200,000 knots.
The item will be formally presented to the Ton Duc Thang museum on his birthdate.
