It can be used with all kinds of carpets and its qualities include thermal protection to help insulate against heat loss and it can also act as a sound barrier, which may be particularly useful in buildings where sound can carry easily between rooms.
Coming in rolls of 15 square metres and weighing around 15 kg, the product is guaranteed for the lifetime of the carpet it is laid under.
For those wanting something even thicker and more luxurious, the same manufacturers also produce the Cloud 9 Cumulus, which is 11 inches thick compared to nine for the Cirrus.
