Celebrity buys home with hardwood flooring

Celebrity Kim Kardashian has bought a new home with hardwood flooring.

The E! reality TV star's $4.8 million (£3.21 million) mansion in Beverley Hills has the flooring alongside a media room, five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.

There is also a pool and an outdoor living room at the gated Tuscan-style villa, where she may be setting up home with boyfriend and American footballer Reggie Bush, with whom she was said to be involved in choosing the home.

A source was quoted by E news as saying: "She liked that it [the mansion] was walled and gated. It's just sexy. It's a very, very sexy house."

The home occupies 400 square ft of space and the hardwood flooring may have been a feature that appealed to the famous couple.

Homes currently for sale with hardwood flooring include a home in the town of East York near Toronto, the National Post reported this week.

It has the material in its living room and dining room.
