Cheap carpet in a gentle green
Those keen on a cheap carpet with a hint of nature about it may like something that is green without being bright and garish.

A product that may fit this bill is the Home Counties 42 oz Twist Celadon carpet from Cormar, which has a pastel shade of light green with strands of varying hues.

Made from 80 per cent wool, the product is manufactured using finer needles and advanced tenth gauge machinery, with the result being that ten tufts can be inserted into every inch of width to create a denser and more compact surface.

In addition to the wool content, ten per cent of the product is nylon and the remainder Tuftbond.

Coming in four metre-wide rolls, the carpet can be installed in almost any room in the home.

The Celadon is also available in a 50 0z pile weight, while Cormar's green carpets also include some with other colours mixed in to give a natural, rustic look.

An example of this is the Berber Twist Moray, which has strands of rusty brown, white and gold included to provide variety.
