Combining a cafe with a wood showroom
A combined bistro and wood showroom is gaining a lot of interest in America for the unusual amalgamation of products.
An enterprising business owner, Trong Nguyen, has combined his day job as founder of a chain of coffee shops with his interest in wood products to create the original venture.
The plan is that all of the wood within the combination bakery, coffee shop and bistro will be on display for customers to purchase along with their coffee.
All of the wood will also be reclaimed timber so the concept can also be applauded for promoting recycling and sustainability.
As well as the counter tops and the outside of the building there is likely to be a good range of solid wood flooring made from reclaimed timber.
Because all of the wood used is reclaimed wood there is often an interesting history behind each different timber.
