Details of new homes project unveiled

Residents have been shown details of new homes that will be constructed as part of a major project to revive an area of Coventry.

A virtual tour of the 622 new houses planned for the regeneration area of Wood End, Henley Green, Manor Farm and Deedmore in the north-east of the city was provided for people living locally, the Homes and Communities Agency noted.

Organisations involved in the project were on hand to answer questions and queries from the public about the blueprint.

Developed by Keepmoat Homes, Bovis Homes and Westbury Partnerships in partnership with a range of public bodies that also includes Coventry City Council, the houses will mean new flooring products will be required.

More new flooring may be required in the future as the project unfolds, with 3,000 residences set to be created.

Last week, the HCA announced the shortlist of 265 candidate sites seeking a share of the £550 million Kickstart phase 2 fund, which should mean 22,000 more new homes requiring flooring.
