A new flooring adhesive has been launched by a US-based company.
Designed to aid in the installation of solid wood flooring, the product is intended to be an environmentally-friendly option, AdehesivesandSealants.com reports.
Produced by DriTac, the Contractors Choice adhesive is said to be "fast-grabbing" and considered ideal for multi-ply engineered flooring, as well as acrylic impregnated wood and Parquet.
All of DriTac's adhesives are solvent-free and the firm says the wet-lay option is aimed at wood flooring contractors in particular.
Founded in 1956, the organisation states that it is the only adhesive manufacturer dedicated solely to the creation of products for the wood flooring industry.
Earlier this week, experts at the UK Flooring Direct blog offered advice to homeowners regarding the cleaning of wood flooring.
They explained that a period of time needs to be left to allow cleaners to take effect, unlike carpets - which will generally soak up fluid instantly.
