Fashion designer makes 'bold choice' in flooring

Zhandra Rhodes opted for rainbow-coloured tiles at the South Bermondsley property, explaining that she could not live in a plain white space.
The Amtico Stardust product was installed in the living area - resting on wood flooring - and the designer explained that she had been looking for a modern alternative to carpets.
"My flat is now even more inviting and spacious thanks to the colours in my floor, which perfectly matches the painted rainbow walls of my interior," she said.
Sian Lewis of Amtico added that bold colours can help householders make a statement through their flooring.
Last week, the Dallas Morning News noted that many homeowners are choosing to install new flooring in order to avoid having to move in the future, with one couple explaining a non-slip surface had been chosen to help prevent falls in old age.
