Flooring sales boosted in autumn

Sales figures show that the expected boost in flooring purchases in autumn has certainly come to fruition and flooring suppliers are celebrating a lift in sales of all products.

October and November are traditionally important months for the interiors market as homeowners focus their attention on renovations before the Christmas period.

This year has not proven to be an exception with increased sales for many flooring manufacturers and suppliers showing that consumers are still looking for those seasonal transformations.

Some anticipated the rise in product sales to be confined to the newly popular ‘value floor’ ranges because of the difficult economic climate but actually all products have been selling more.

One theory is that the consumers who might have invested in a solid wood floor in the past may now be choosing a value floor like laminate or vinyl, however solid wood sales are still rising because some consumers would previously have considered selling their home.

Because the condition of the housing market people are more reluctant to sell and so those individuals are now more likely to invest in their current home with a product like solid wood flooring.

Whatever flooring you are looking for there are great ranges available at the moment and some companies are in the position to offer extremely low price flooring due to increased sales.
