Designed for use with engineered or solid wood flooring, the product has a peelable protective film which simply comes off to leave an adhesive side, on top of which
the wooden floor can be laid.
This saves time and effort by making it unnecessary to use glue, nails or tools and comes in a 10 sq m roll.
Such a product may encourage those thinking of getting a wooden floor but anxious about the possible difficulty of installation.
One product that may go well with the underlay is the UK Flooring Direct 1000 gauge damp proof membrane.
This is designed to protect wooden, laminate or tile floors from rising damp and this sort of protection is necessary with a concrete subfloor, as it can allow moisture to seep through.
