The National Post noted that the residence - which is located in the Clairlea district of Toronto - was on the market for 38 days and was sold after two showings.
It features hardwood flooring in its living and dining room, an element that may have helped to persuade one of the two potential buyers to decide to purchase the property.
Possessing three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sold for CAD$415,000 (£246,000), only CAD$2,000 less than the asking price.
The single storey home also has a lower-level living room and a covered barbecue area.
Last month, the same publication reported on another Toronto home that has a hardwood floor.
The townhouse in the heart of the city was up for sale at CAD$325,000, with the residence being situated close to the Kensington markets and the city's financial and fashion districts.
