Hardwood flooring a feature of recently sold house

In its property pages, the National Post revealed that the three-storey house in the Parkdale area of Toronto has hardwood flooring in the living room.
The Victorian construction is over 2,600 sq ft in area, has three floors, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and features including three fireplaces and a saltwater swimming pool.
It was described by the selling agent as possessing "ornate woodwork", which may emphasise how hardwood flooring can blend with other wood features in a home.
The property was sold after 18 days on the market for CAD$830,000 (£541,000), CAD$31,000 more than the asking price.
Other homes for sale recently highlighted that have hardwood flooring include a house in Olney in the state of Maryland.
The Gazette.net reported last week that the material was used for the floor of the foyer and kitchen.
