Laminate floor sales unaffected by recession

Despite the recession 2010 actually proved to be one of the best years on record for laminate flooring producers in Europe.

The current economic climate has left no industry unaffected with many businesses suffering, and the flooring sector is no exception to this.

Fortunately the European Producers of Laminate Flooring have reported that 2010 was their second best year on record.

Whether this means that the end of the economic downturn is imminent remains to be seen but the flooring industry can take encouragement from this latest news.

The rates of laminate floor sales have differed across the market with some slight decreases reported, however the majority of countries reported good news.

Eastern Europe even reported record sales with several countries reaching high sales figures, despite the fact that many people did not expect it.

Of course one reason for the high laminate floor sales figures could be the fact that cheap laminate flooring is a great value way to get the ideal flooring at a fraction of the usual cost.

Whatever the reason for the current sales figures they are great news for anyone in the flooring business, as well as the financial market in general.
