It offers a wood effect with a very notable contrast of colours, with areas of very light wood and dark wood like ragged stripes along its length.
The appearance of each plank is also made distinctive by the addition of bevelled edges on all four sides, giving them more depth and definition.
Made from AC4 grade laminate suitable for use in the home or small shops or offices, the flooring is assembled using the direct pressure lamination system, which means at least three layers of material are pressed together.
The planks are 8 mm thick, 192 mm wide and the product has a 20-year warranty.
Other laminate floors in the Elka range include the Loft Oak V Groove, which has the same dimensions as the Heartwood, but comes in a very pale oak wood look with very few markings.
