Living green "no longer a challenge"

In a statement which will be welcomed by the environmentally conscious everywhere, one design website has claimed that living in an eco friendly manner is no longer a challenge.

The freshome interior design and architecture website has declared that it is easier than ever to live in an environmentally conscious way thanks to the wealth of options now available.

The website claims that: “Living green is now not a challenge anymore” because of the many ways that sustainable flooring can be used.

One example is end grain driftwood flooring from Bleu Nature, which utilises small pieces of driftwood from France which then make up a very distinctive style of floor.

For the average household bamboo or cork flooring makes an ideal option as they do not cause environmental damage yet they look beautiful.

Cork floors can be harvested without damaging the tree and they are then left to recover for a period of several years before being harvested again.

Bamboo flooring also has great green credentials as these products are made from grass rather than wood, which means that the plants are far easier to replace than trees.

Sustainable living is of utmost importance to the majority of consumers as people become more environmentally conscious than ever before.
