Mineral magic for cork bathroom flooring
12th November 2010
It comes with a natural colour but a distinctly grainy pattern, one which may look very attractive on the floor as well as providing comfort underfoot due to the springy nature of the material.
Cork flooring is hard to scratch, water resistant and also seen as being very green, since it comes from the bark of the cork tree and can be re-harvested time and again without the plant coming to harm.
The product has an HDF core board system to make the tiles very stable and gives the surface layer greater resistance against impacts.
Each tile is 300 mm across, 10 mm thick and the product has a 20-year warranty.
It is one of a number of cork floors available from Florence Cork Basics Floating Floor Classic, which has a distinctly specked look combining cork in different shades of golden brown.
