A flooring manufacturer in the US has announced the launch of new system that can accommodate practically any design.
Construction Specialties unveiled Floorometry at the American Institute of Architects Convention in San Francisco earlier this year and it is now being made available.
Installed in a similar manner to tiles, the flooring offers "unprecedented" freedom for design options and the top surface can be detached to make maintenance easier.
"With nearly limitless design freedom, Floorometry gives architects the tools they need to create a stunning first impression, all while ensuring uncompromised performance," the company stated.
It comes after research by the firm found that easier installation options are desired, while designers would like to work with a wider range of flooring materials.
Last month, L&Si Online reported that Cambridgeshire-based Le Mark is set to unveil a new vinyl flooring product that allows any graphic or design to be printed on the material.
