New hardwood flooring part of inn renovation

An inn dating back to 1790 and which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places has undergone a refurbishment that has seen hardwood floors brought into the building.

The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn, which can be found at the junction of the Franklin Turnpike and Maple and Sheridan Avenues, can now boast wood flooring among its attributes, which also include a lot of brickwork and a completely new interior, North Jersey.com reports.

Gordon Hamm, managing partner of the Inn, which is owned by Ho-Ho-Kus Inn and Tavern LLC, noted that the establishment is a popular one with the residents in the area.

"We tried to make it something the town will have for a long time," he was quoted by the news source as saying.

And the versatility of hardwood flooring was recently demonstrated at the Cowboys Stadium - which is the playing ground of NFL franchise the Dallas Cowboys - with the venue having a floor installed over the football surface so it could stage its first ever basketball game.
