NZ wool makes impression at China Floor Expo
The DOMOTEX Asia/China Floor exhibition has provided a platform for New Zealand wool to showcase the advantages of the product being used for carpet.
Recent events in New Zealand mean that parts of the country have been devastated by natural disasters but it is now starting to get back on its feet.
Although New Zealand wool is widely considered to be a particularly luxurious product, carpets which are produced in China rarely take advantage of New Zealand wool.
The stand at DOMOTEX Asia/China Floor was an incredibly popular one at the exhibition as visitors chose to get the full experience of authentic New Zealand wool.
The range of New Zealand wool carpets were exhibited by New Zealand Wool Services international, which is the country’s largest wool exporter.
A number of samples were available to give visitors a genuine feel for the texture of the wool and a number of international links were forged at the event which could lead to New Zealand wool being used for carpet across the world.
