Prestigious carpet award ceremony
The start of 2012 will see the return of the popular ceremony for America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards which will now feature two brand new categories.
The awards are at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market during the National Oriental Rug Show, and the event will also be held at an exciting venue.
Recognition will be given to those in the carpet and rug market who have excelled throughout the year, particularly in creative endeavours.
The new categories which will be assessed include Indoor/Outdoor and Licensee rugs and carpets and other products will be split in to several sectors by price and how they are made.
The presentation will be held in the Ocean’s Ballroom within the Georgia Aquarium for an underwater atmosphere.
The winning products will be displayed to allow other manufacturers, designers and buyers to see the best of America’s carpet designs for the year.
This will be an exciting event because it will honour the achievements from 2011 while allowing networking and brainstorming about the future carpet trends for the year ahead.
The ceremony will be held on the 13th January 2012 and will be a part of the extensive Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market between the 11th and the 18th January.
