Designed to recreate the atmosphere of a day on the beach, the product has a blue base colour to represent the water, while the wool is made entirely from acrylic pile.
It features an underwater scene with three red and yellow fish - all blowing bubbles - and a starfish, plus a green plant growing on the seabed.
There is also a boat, a beach hut and a lighthouse depicted on the land above the waves, with the hut being yellow and red and the lighthouse having red and white stripes.
Four shades of blue represent the sky and different parts of the sea.
Such a product may fuel the nautical imaginations of children.
The rug, which measures 80 cm by 100 cm, is one of several aimed at youngsters.
Others include the Kid's zoo, farmyard, animals, butterfly and ladybird items, with some of these coming with choices of blue backgrounds for boys and pink for girls.
