It is a two-part polyurethane adhesive of low viscosity that is suitable for vinyl because it can be used to bond various kinds of PVC flooring, whether it is composition, semi-flexible or homogenous.
Coming in 10kg tubs, there is enough sealant to cover 30 sq m of floorspace.
It is suitable for wet rooms as well as places where there is underfloor heating and areas exposed to large amounts of natural light.
The product can also be used to bond thin rubber flooring.
Mapei makes a range of floor sealant materials that can help install different kinds of flooring.
These include its Ultrabond P990 Tub Adhesive for fixing engineered or solid wood flooring to a subfloor, as well as the Adhesive Sausage, which is used in conjunction with a glue gun to help tongue and groove and full stick-down installation of wooden floors.
