Silver carpet takes place of red for Sex and the City premiere

The next film in the series is set to open around the world this Friday (May 28th) and the anticipation has got fashionistas the globe over wondering what styles the films four main characters will be sporting.
At the New York event, the silver carpet flooring fitted perfectly with the glittery dresses sported by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davies who star as Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte respectively.
Speaking ahead of the film's release, Cattrall said that the new movie takes film goers back to the days of the hit TV show.
"What I love about this one is the girls back together, without the boyfriends, without the husbands, without the kids, without the jobs," she said.
