Tongue tight treat from Elka

Tongue tight treat from Elka

Those installing tongue and groove flooring may find Elka Tongue Tite screws to be ideal for this endeavour.

A feature of the 3.5 x 45 mm screws is that they have very small heads, which means they are designed to sink into the groove in a way that ensures they do not cause any obstruction to the tongue on the next piece of the floor.

Two intended benefits of this are that the screws are less likely to work themselves loose and cordless drivers do not need to be used as much, while the application of glue is avoided altogether.

The products are designed to be used with both soft and hardwood boards.

Consumers needing flooring accessories can pick up a range of other items from Elka as well.

Among these are underlays for use with concrete or wooden subfloors, as well as one with soundproofing built in, making it ideal for use in a home where noise carries between rooms.
