UKFD celebrates consecutive success in league table
UK Flooring Direct has reason to celebrate as the firm has been included in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 list for the second consecutive year.
While the flooring industry is looking fairly bleak at the moment the midlands-based company is bucking the trend and continuing to grow year on year.
The list was published yesterday and it is compiled to rank the 100 fastest growing private companies in the UK over the previous three years.
UK Flooring Direct continues to expand and employ new staff to keep up with demand for sustainably-sourced wood flooring products, despite the difficult conditions facing many other retailers.
Recent news in the flooring sector has been far from positive with many manufacturers and suppliers struggling to stay in business so news of a flooring firm’s entry in the prestigious list will be welcome news.
The annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 has been published for the past fifteen years to acknowledge the work and dedication required from private companies in order to expand so quickly.
Sir Richard Branson, of Virgin – the league table sponsor, said: “2011 has been another challenging year for the UK in political and economic terms.
“Against this economic background the strong performance of the Fast Track 100 companies is to be especially applauded.”
