Vinyl flooring tiles a feature of renovated building
3rd December 2009
The Wetaskiwin Memorial Arts Centre is to be given a facelift during its quiet season and its foreman Rick Stasiuk suggested to the Wetaskiwin Times Advertiser the decision to get rid of the current rug floor covering was a simple one to make for maintenance reasons.
"It will be replaced with vinyl composition tile and it gets waxed every so often and that way it is easier to maintain," he remarked.
The building is also going to be repainted, with earth-tone colours being chosen to give it a fresher look. The whole project is expected to take about four weeks to complete.
Vinyl flooring is set to be showcased tomorrow as the eyes of the football-following world turn to Cape Town's International Convention Centre, where it will provide the surface on which a host of sports personalities will walk as the draw for the 2010 Fifa World Cup is made.
