Wood flooring firm to open new factory
A wood flooring company is set to open a new factory in the US state of Kentucky after being given a tax break.

New World Flooring, which is based in Clinton County plans to reopen a facility in Clinton County that was previously used by another company to manufacture wooden flooring.

This has been made possible after the company won tax incentives worth $750,000 from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority, alongside a further $18,000 worth of fiscal incentives under another state-wide small business initiative, the Lexington Herald Leader has reported.

It is expected that New World Flooring will create up to 30 new jobs at the forthcoming factory, where it intends to manufacture flooring lumber and parts for wooden flooring.

News of this latest development points to the ongoing rise in demand for wooden flooring.

Earlier this week, the women's website Risk Collective advised people with a dust mite allergy to look into the benefits of wooden flooring, particularly in the living room and the bedroom.
