Wooden floors a feature of re-fitted house

A re-fitted house in Reading features wooden flooring among its attributes, it has been noted.

The home has stripped wooden floors in all four bedrooms upstairs, Get Reading reports.

Stripped wood flooring is also the material used for the home's entrance hall dining room and living room, while the theme is continued by the use of wood as the basis of work surfaces in the kitchen.

Such a natural material may seem appropriate as the home offers plenty of connections with all things organic, having a 200 ft back garden.

The news provider notes that the various interior features are the result of major renovation work by its owners.

One of the main advantages of wood flooring is that it requires low levels of maintenance, the North-West Evening Mail reported last month.

The paper stated that most new homes in Britain come fitted with a wooden floor and that this is aesthetically superior to the alternatives.
