Wool carpet supplier moves to new HQ
20th November 2009
Wool Partners International, which supplies the materials for wool carpets, said it is moving to a single national venue for auctions in March 2010, Fibre2Fashion reports.
This will be located in a purpose-built centre in the city of Christchurch, while Wool Partners' Christchurch auction centre will host weekly sales.
According to the news provider, much of the produce of the company goes directly to the makers of the Laneve brand, which is used to make wool carpet products.
The move means that auctioneering operations by the firm will no longer be taking place in Napier.
Wool carpet is a feature of a medical centre that has been commended for being eco-friendly.
Dr Jennifer Ashton's surgery in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, has also had cork flooring installed and has been recognised by the local authority with an award for outstanding service to the local people.
