Ybor City tattoo parlour features bamboo floor

According to Julie Garisto, writing for tampabay.com, the Ybor City Tattoo Co's salon is a far cry from the traditional image people tend to have regarding tattoo parlours.
The establishment, which opened in April, boasts an environment which is relaxing and quite different from those found in other parlours.
"Ybor City Tattoo Co … stands a century apart from the smoky dens of yesteryear. Its pale yellow walls, red leather couches, bamboo floor and skylight provide a bright and airy warmth," Ms Garisto said.
Bamboo flooring has also featured in a yoga studio whose owners chose it for its environmentally-friendly credentials.
The Dallas Morning News ran a feature on the Get Yogafied outlet and its proprietors Shana Stein and Kimberley Ames, who said they wanted to run a business which made use of recycled materials and was sensitive the environment.
