Get The Look - Bathroom Elegance
January 1st, 2020

Since its launch, homeowners have been tapping into Bamrock’s incredible durability and long-lasting credentials. However, this bamboo flooring can more than play its part in the creation of beautiful home settings such as this elegant bathroom, after you’ve chosen from its three chic colours.

When this roomset was launched on social media just a matter of weeks ago, it caused a real stir, which got us thinking: why not help our readers get this look? The ‘Get the Look’ category was made for shots like this, so join us below as we guide you through some fabulous bathroom purchases.

1) Flooring

The star of the show, Bamrock bamboo brings the look of real wood with all its grain and swirl marks, in super tough form. Shown here in the hearty Latte décor, these extra wide planks are covered by an impressive 30-year warranty, so you’re sorted for the long haul.

2) Bathtub and Taps

Chadder has been producing classic baths for decades now, hence its inclusion in trend features up and down the land. We love the Blenheim bath in Charcoal, but you can use any colour to break up this predominantly white scheme. Victorian Plumbing stock a range of classic taps that will complete the look.

3) Paint

We’re working with neutrals, so use Farrow & Ball’s search facility to refine by this palette. We’ve selected Wimborne White, perhaps the cleanest hue in the entire stable, but you may find a cream adds more design interest.

4) Towels

House of Fraser, M&S and John Lewis are our go-to stores for soft and fluffy towels, as we know they’ll have collections broad enough to meet our design needs. Thanks to subtle colours and vintage patterns, House of Fraser edged things this time round.

5) Table and Contents

An antique piece to work in with the towels and bathtub, this table is the sort of item you’ll stumble across at a vintage fair. If you tend to avoid such events, try Wayfair and its quaint Venetian Side Table alongside Sabichi Freestanding Mirror and Diamante Tealight Holders.

6) Radiator

Victorian Plumbing is a great place to conclude your search, with radiators spanning a number of colours and styles. Unsurprisingly we’re focusing on white once again, with this traditional Colosseum number ticking all the right boxes.
