What is vinyl flooring
Put simply, vinyl flooring is a type of floor that either comes on a roll, or in planks or tiles that consist of several layers of vinyl, with a photographic image applied, that are then sealed together to create a sturdy, long-lasting and waterproof floor. Some types of vinyl are also embossed to give them the texture or real wood or stone.
Do you need underlay for vinyl flooring?
Most types of vinyl flooring don’t need underlay, and they can be installed on almost any surface as long as it’s in good condition.
